Femi Fani Kayode, Former aviation minister has reacted to the statement released by miyetti allah national secretary.

According to report, the national secretary of the group, Alhassan Saleh said that anybody from yoruba supporting Amotekun is ‘primitive’.

He said, “It is not blackmail. Unfortunately, with very strong apology to my South-West friends, despite the education of the Yoruba people, they still remain the most primitive in terms of politics. They are not tolerant to opposition and if you allow them to have an ethnic army, definitely there will be fear from Nigerians.”

This has caused so many tension and uprising across the social media space and generated a lot of debates in national news medias.

Reacting to the statement, Fani Kayode said: “Our forefathers studied at Oxford and Cambridge Universities in the 1800’s and our first lawyer was called to the English bar in 1879.

“Their forefathers were rearing cattle at the time and they are still rearing cattle today. The first northerner to be called to the bar was in 1955 and even he was not a core northerner but a son of Oduduwa from Ilorin.

“All this and these cow-lovers still have the nerve to call us “primitive”?
