Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, the new Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari has said that his office is solely for the service of his principal.
He noted that the new appointment is not about the Chief of Staff but about the President.
According to him, his plan is just to do his job by providing President Buhari with the best advice to organize the office.
DAILY POST had reported that Gambari was confirmed as the replacement for Mallam Abba Kyari on Wednesday.
Gambari said this when he appeared as a guest on Channels Television’s Politics Today.
In his telephone interview, the 75-year-old said, “My plan is just to do my job, which is to provide the President with the best advice to organize the office and to make sure that the machinery runs smoothly.”
