Federal Government of Nigeria has warned citizens over large gathering of religious body while noting ‘despite lifting ban, that it’s more safer for Nigerians to worship at home’.
This notice was made known to the public by Sani Aliyu, national coordinator of the presidential task force on COVID-19 on Tuesday while briefing newsmen.
Recall, Boss Mustapha, secretary to the government of the federation on Monday proclaimed that Muhammadu Buhari approved the reopening of religious gathering in Nigeria which comprises Churches and Mosques after releasing some guidelines that accompanied the lift.
According to report, this restriction of massive gathering is to curtail the escalation of Covid-19 pandemic.
