44-year-old Jandor is the winner of the Lagos PDP governorship ticket

Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, also known as ‘Jandor,’ the convener of the Lagos4Lagos Movement, has won the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship primary contest to become the party’s nominee for the 2023 elections in Lagos State.
Jandor received 679 votes out of 709 total votes, defeating Dakova Kolawole.

Kolawole received only 20 votes, with 10 votes deemed void.

Chairman of the electoral committee, Emmanuel Ogidi, revealed the results and congratulated the candidates.

In his speech, Jandor promised to bring the PDP members in the state together.

In the meantime, four candidates had dropped out of the campaign, leaving only Jandor and Kolawole.
