A man has been sentenced to 56 years in prison by an Ekiti State Court for forgery fraud and other offenses

Daramola Oyindamola, 35, was convicted by an Ekiti State High Court to 56 years in jail for forgery, fraud, impersonation, and other connected offenses.

Oyindamola was charged with collecting money under false pretenses, stealing, procuring the execution of documents by false pretenses, and producing documents without permission.

Justice Olusegun Ogunyemi handed down his verdict in Ado-Ekiti on Tuesday, convicting Oyindamola on six counts based on the prosecution’s uncontroverted evidence.

Justice Ogunyemi found Oyindamola guilty and sentenced him to 7 years in jail on count one, not guilty on count two, 14 years in prison on count three, 14 years in prison on count four, 14 years in prison on count five, 14 years in prison on count six, and 7 years in prison on count seven.
