In a recent cult clash in Ilorin three people have been reported dead

On Monday night, three individuals were thought slain in a new bloody cult conflict in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State.
One Hausa commercial Okada rider and two unidentified suspected cultists were among the three victims.

According to ecocitytv, the fight broke out about 8.40 p.m. on Ilorin’s Omoda roundabout.

According to eyewitness accounts, pandemonium erupted in the neighborhood as the accused cultists began firing irregularly, forcing many to flee for their lives.

People closed their stores and evacuated the neighborhood for the night to avoid being injured by stray bullets or a cultist attack.

Attempts to acquire confirmation from the State police command’s spokesperson, Mr Okasanmi Ajayi, in Ilorin, were unsuccessful since text messages sent to him about the occurrence were not returned.

Last Friday, a gang of adolescents led by Habeeb Ganiyu stabbed two young boys to death in the Adifa and Centre Igboro areas of Ilorin metropolis, according to ecocitytv.

Doctors on duty at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, UITH Ilorin, confirmed that the two victims, known as Lukman and Kudus, were dead.

The police had apprehended Habeeb, who had allegedly stabbed them in the chest.

Suspected cultists also struck a residence near the playing field of the Government Day Secondary School in Ilorin’s Kulende-Zango neighborhoods on Sunday night, with occasional gunshots heard.
