Is Fave a genuine talent or is she just another one-hit wonder?

Despite the success of her romantic song “Baby Riddim,” Fave is still a long way from her full potential.

Her tremendous voice and vocal aptitude, as well as her lyrical abilities, first gained traction with her contribution to Olamide’s “UY Scuti” album earlier this year.

It’s safe to say that nobody knew Fave until “Baby Riddim” became a viral smash and an absolute stunner late last year.

Fave, on the other hand, is fantastic. She has what you might call a’mature’ feeling. Even when she’s talking sappy juvenile-sounding things, you can tell by the tone of her voice that she’s a mature lady with boundless vitality. It doesn’t really matter if she’s 21 or 25.

But it’s been months since she had that hit, and we’re hoping for a follow-up, despite the fact that none appears to be on the way. She has an EP out, but has yet to have another smash song.

Maybe she’s one of those musicians who shouldn’t be judged solely on the basis of their number of hits. However, the fact that she has done it before indicates that if she does something correctly, she can do it again.

This isn’t the first time in the industry that an artist has come in with a great success and then failed to follow it up with something better. Do you recall Di’ja?

Fave appears to be competent in her field, but that won’t be enough if she’s going to be here for a long time. If you want to be the next Tiwa Savage, you’ll need more than one hit and a Rookie of the Year nomination.

She’s still a one-hit wonder for the time being. Is she, though, capable of creating another smash hit like “Baby Riddim”? That, my friends, is the million-dollar question.
