According to a source in the area, the bandits raided the former Permanent Secretary’s Furfuri village homestead in the Bungudu Local Government Area of the State with the hope that he (Abubakar Bello) was at home.

The bandits investigated the house but were unable to locate the former Permanent Secretary, leading to the abduction of his two wife and four daughters, according to the source.

“I believe the bandits were just after the former Permanent Secretary since when they got in the area, they didn’t bother anyone and proceeded straight to his house to carry out their goal,” he stated.
