Allowing the PDP to drag Nigeria backwards is unacceptable says Buhari to APC members

President Muhammadu Buhari has urged the All Progressives Congress (APC) not to allow the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to return to power and lead the country backwards.

He recounted to delegates at the party’s national convention early Wednesday morning that the APC inherited a country where a wide swath of land was under insurgency and infrastructural collapse, as well as a nearly dead economy, despite crude oil selling for years at prices above $100 per barrel.
