As vote counting continues in the APC primary Osinbajo departs the convention venue

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has left Eagles Square, the site of the ruling All Progressives Congress’s presidential primary.
According to reports, Osinbajo departed the gathering while national delegates were still counting votes.
President Muhammadu Buhari had also left the presidential convention shortly after delivering his speech.
At about 1.30 a.m., he left with his wife, Aisha, and was escorted out by key officials, including Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, one of the primary candidates.
Former Lagos State governor Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, and former Minister of Transportation, Mr Rotimi Amaechi were rated ahead of their counterparts in last night’s Special Convention of the All Progressives Congress, APC, held at Eagle Square in Abuja, according to a report published in Vanguard.
While six aspirants stepped down for Tinubu, only one went down for Osinbajo, yet Amaechi defended his candidacy vehemently.
