President Buhari Is Absent From Eagles Square As 14 Aspirants Fight For A Ticket

President Muhammadu Buhari has since departed the All Progressives Congress (APCEagles )’s Square headquarters in Abuja, where voting for the party’s presidential candidate for the 2023 general elections is still underway.

There are only 14 contenders left in the race.

David Umahi, Tunde Bakare, Bola Tinubu, Ahmad Rufai Sani, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, Yemi Osinbajo, Rochas Okorocha, Yahaya Bello, Tein Jack-Rich, Ogbonnaya Onu, Ahmad Lawan, Ben Ayade, and Ikeobasi Mokelu are the names of the candidates.

Ken Nnamani, Robert A. Boroffice, Badaru Abubakar, Ibikunle Amosun, Godswill Akpabio, Kayode Fayemi, Nicholas Felix, Uju Ken-Ohanenye, and Dimeji Bankole are among those who have stepped down for Tinubu or Osinbajo.

However, Emeka Nwajiuba, the Minister of State for Education, did not attend the convention and did not stand on stage to promote his candidacy.

The voting process is currently underway, with delegates voting according to their respective states.
