During the 2022 World Cup players and fans who are not married will go to jail if they have sexual relations

For the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, there will be the first-ever ban on sex between players and fans. People who break the rule could get seven years in prison.

During the competition, drinking in public, parties, and other social events would also be banned in the mostly Muslim country.

The Daily Star says that the country plans to follow the ban and not turn away foreign fans who would be in the country for the whole tournament.

“Sex is not on the menu at all, unless you come as a married couple.” At this tournament, there will be no one-night stands at all.

“Really, there won’t be a party at all. Everyone needs to keep their heads on straight or they could end up in jail.

“For the first time ever, there is a ban on sex at this year’s World Cup. “Fans should be ready,” a police source was also quoted as saying.

Qatar has laws against drinking in public and having sexual relations with people who are not married. It is also against the law for anyone to be drunk in public. Even if a man and a woman are married, they can’t show affection in public, and they shouldn’t wear revealing clothing in public.

“If you get caught, there are very strict and scary consequences. “Fans are worried that this could be a very bad tournament,” a source said.

Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Emir of Qatar, recently made a statement about the tournament. He said, “We don’t stop people from coming to Doha with different backgrounds and different beliefs. Qatar is a very welcoming country.”

“Millions of people come to our country every year, and the World Cup is a great chance for people from all over the world to visit and learn about our culture.”
