In a tweet, the former minister said that the senators are threatening to leave APC because they lost the party’s primary election.

He asked Abdullahi Adamu, who is the National Chairman of the APC, to reach out to them right away and solve the problem.

Fani-Kayode says that the ruling party can’t lose the 22 senators before the general elections in 2023.

He wrote, “22 APC Senators are threatening to switch to the PDP because they haven’t been given tickets to go back to the Senate.”

“This is bad, and we need to do something to stop it. Many people are worried, and we want our skilled National Chairman and National Secretary to get in touch with them. We can’t afford to lose them.”
