They’ll bring quality to my squad – Ancelotti confirms Real Madrid’s transfer plans

Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti has said that the club’s latest two signings, Antonio Rudiger and Aurelien Tchouameni, will bring a lot of quality to his squad.

Ancelotti said this while confirming that Real Madrid will not be making any new signings again this summer.

Real Madrid recently signed Rudiger and Tchouameni from Chelsea and Monaco in the ongoing transfer window.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of Real Madrid’s pre-season tour to the United States, Ancelotti said (via Managing Madrid): “I can tell you we won’t sign anyone. We are fine as it is.

“Tchouameni and Rudiger will bring a lot of quality to the squad. Rudiger is a great centre-back who can play in different positions, while Tchouameni is the same as a midfielder. He’s younger but is already playing for the France national team.”

The former Everton coach added: “Competition in the squad is the key to success. They both only arrived today. Of course, they will need some time to adapt but not too much since they have so much quality.”

Real Madrid’s first pre-season game will be an El Clasico against Barcelona in Las Vegas on July 23.
