European Union’s foreign policy chief, Kaja Kallas has urged European countries to prepare for the worst amid the ongoing war with Russia and Ukraine.

Kallas wants European countries to defend peace in Europe and stand strong against any possible war threat.

She said this while presenting the ‘White Paper for European Defence and the ReArm Europe Plan/Readiness 2030’ on Wednesday.

According to her, the plans are aimed at making European countries stronger against any threat.

“We do this not to fight a war but to prepare for the worst, defend peace in Europe and stand strong for a world where might cannot make right,” Kallas said.

“The international order is undergoing changes of a magnitude not seen since 1945.

“This is a pivotal moment for European security. A pivotal moment for action.”

This is coming after Italy and Spain on Monday said they were not ready to back a European Union proposal to pledge up to $43.67 billion in military aid for Ukraine this year.
